Meet the Owner
The Internal Beauty Clinic is owned and run by Lisa Monaghan-Jones. RGN, Dip.G.BCCH. MGCH.RT, APM Dip. ITEC Beauty.
Lisa is an advanced trained aesthetic nurse practitioner who qualified under leading consultant plastic surgeon Adrian Richard (FRCS Plast) who provides training only accredited by the Royal College of Physicians, and has also trained with Xavier Goodsavion MD (Hons), MRCGP, Dip Clin Derm (London), as featured on TV's Face-to-Face. Lisa has working contracts with the local medical profession, GPs and consultants.
Unlike the majority of other colonic hydrotherapists who come with a background in the beauty business only, Lisa has been a Registered Nurse for over 15 years, and brings a valuable wealth of experience, including male and female medical / cardiology, community staff nursing, and was recently employed as a nursing sister.
Lisa passed with distinction both her anatomy, physiology and massage diploma, and beauty therapy diploma. But most importantly, she qualifies with the Guild as a Registered Colon Hydrotherapist, again with distinction.
Practical nursing skills are fully integrated with colonic hydrotherapy and massage to provide a high class professional service, which is reflected in the design and layout of IBC's premises, which are detatched to ensure clients are treated on an individual basis in the clinic; the layout is designed with maximum privacy and comfort, with reception downstairs, and the treatment area upstairs.
